The technique is dry felting with colored locks of wool felted into the mat. There is a texture and ethnographic feel to it—almost tribal, we could say.

Combining such strong yellow and orange details with calming earthy browns was a pure moment of inspiration. When you get close to the surface of a rug, your eyes get lost in details, and you begin to realize the uniqueness of the design. It is possible to interpret it the way you want, and you can never be wrong. It is one of those pieces that slowly crawls under your skin, even if you initially thought that it wasn't your style.

Dimensions: 1,00 x 0,90kg

Weight: 1kg

This rug, just like any other we offer here for purchase, was made of 100% recycled wool. In other words, with a purchase of any item in our store, you directly contribute to the sustainability movement and dealing with wool as a waste problem. Additionally, it is always good to mention that all of our designs are eco- and animal-friendly, meaning no sheep were harmed and no chemicals were used in any step of the process leading to the final product.

NOTE to a customer: To maintain the quality look of a product, handling it with care is our warmest recommendation. Hand-washing your rug in water heated up to 30°C is fine. Rolling it gently to squeeze out extra water is a good way of preparing it for drying. Hanging it over a cord vertically would be the best choice, so all the water can come out on its own.

Since our products are made of wool, all wool as a material will pill to a certain extent as a result of friction, which does not constitute a defect. For that reason, some loss of hair in a rug is normal and expected.

If you are in a search for home items to support eco-friendly and organic living but again love your new purchases to be all-time designs to suit your modern home, then search no more.
These wooly puzzles are the perfect fit for your healthy lifestyle. They are made out of sustainable material sourced from the Plitvice Lakes area of Croatia.
