Sometimes mainstream media can make certain things, items, or people into something that is generally perceived as scary, nice, or pretty, but sometimes it can make the same thing or object appear both scary and cute. This is the case with ghosts. If you think of horror movies, then ghosts are immediately scary, but who hasn't heard of Casper, the friendly ghost? We chose to think of ghosts more like Casper, so our ghost-themed rugs are friendly home ghosts that like to keep a home a warm and cozy place.
This particular ghost is made of off-white wool from the Pramenka sheep breed, sourced in Lika, Croatia.

This rug, just like any other we offer here for purchase, was made of 100% recycled wool. In other words, with a purchase of any item in our store, you directly contribute to the sustainability movement and dealing with wool as a waste problem. Additionally, it is always good to mention that all of our designs are eco- and animal-friendly, meaning no sheep were harmed and no chemicals were used in any step of the process leading to the final product.
NOTE to a customer: To maintain the quality look of a product, handling it with care is our warmest recommendation. Hand-washing your rug in water heated up to 30°C is fine. Rolling it gently to squeeze out extra water is a good way of preparing it for drying. Hanging it over a cord vertically would be the best choice, so all the water can come out on its own.
Since our products are made of wool, all wool as a material will pill to a certain extent as a result of friction, which does not constitute a defect. For that reason, some loss of hair in a rug is normal and expected.
